You know you’re a mom when….you learn to take stuff like this with a grain of salt….
So remember when we were told she was stopping at #3. Um…because she ‘likes even numbers’. Yeah, um…no. When Kaylee came home for Easter break, we were all milling about the kitchen when she starts laughing and says…”Mom, there’s been something I’ve been meaning to tell you….since January.”
“For God’s sake….what? Is it bad?”
“I got another tattoo”.
“What? I thought you were stopping at 3. Where is it?”
“It’s somewhere where no one will ever see it. ”
“Where…on your ass?”
“No”, she says laughing and pulls her hair back….”on the back of my EAR!”
*note: this is an ‘anchor’. Her reason for this choice? So that’s she’ll always be reminded to stay anchored to her core values. I think she just thought it was cute and since she was waiting for a friend to get their own tattoo….she plunked down the $15 for this little guy.
